biography
Balázs, known professionally as ALXVNDR, is a Hungarian music producer, rapper, and instrumentalist. Born into a family of musicians, his lineage on both his mother’s and father’s sides has been deeply rooted in music for generations. His father was an opera singer, while his mother taught cello at a local music school, providing him with an early foundation in classical music. He studied cello for eight years and music theory for ten but eventually sought a different musical direction. Influenced by various genres and inspired by his grandfather, a practicing poet, he gravitated toward rap and hip-hop culture.
ALXVNDR began his musical journey by writing lyrics and recording rap songs with friends. His first demo, recorded in a basement and shared on MySpace, marked the beginning of his pursuit of a career in music. Performing under the names “Brazz Angelz Beatz” as a producer and “KTS Neflim” as an artist, he spent several years producing instrumentals, performing live, and selling beats. During this period, he fronted Yellow Sunset FCF, a rap-metal band that performed across Hungary. Despite the band’s efforts, it was unable to achieve mainstream success, ultimately leading to its disbandment and a hiatus from music.
After focusing on his career as a web developer for several years, he reignited his passion for music in 2020 under the moniker ALXVNDR. Initially returning as a rap performer, he resumed his work as a producer in 2022. His mission is to support and mentor other artists, providing them with the opportunities and guidance he wished he had earlier in his career. ALXVNDR aims to collaborate with musicians to create impactful works that resonate with audiences and leave a lasting legacy.
